About Us
About the ELC
Electoral Literacy Club is being set up to promote electronic literacy in all age groups of the Citizens through engaging and interesting activities and hands-on experience but in politician, neutral and non-partisan manner. The club targets new voters in the age group of 18-21 years who pursue their graduation.
Vision
- Engaging the Students through interesting activities of their electoral rights.
- Stimulating and motivating the students to vote.
- Strengthening the culture of electoral participation among young and future voters.
- No vote to be left behind.
Mission
- Educate the students about the voter register, electoral process and related matters through hands-on experience.
- Understand the value of their vote.
Objectives
- To facilitate EVM and VVPAT familiarization and education about the robustness of EVM as well as the integrity of the electoral process using EVMs.
- To exercise the students in a confident, comfortable and ethical manner.
- To harness the potential of ELC members for carrying the electoral literacy in communities.
