About the JCI
Junior Chamber International (JCI) is a nonprofit, non-governmental organization that connects young active citizens aged 18–40 to develop leadership skills and drive positive social change. Founded in 1915, it now operates in over 100 countries with around 200,000 members working to advance the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals through community, business, and global cooperation initiatives.

Mission
- To provide leadership development opportunities that empowers young people to create positive Chamber.
Objectives
- Promote innovation in the Institution through multitudinous modes leading to an innovation promotion eco-system in the campus
- Organize periodic workshops/ seminars/ interactions with entrepreneurs, investors, professionals and create a mentor pool for student innovators.
- Network with peers and national / international entrepreneurship development organizations.
- Create an Institution’s Innovation portal to highlight innovative projects carried out by institution’s faculty and students.
- Identify and reward innovations and share success stories.
